Who we are
KAJORAH FZ-LLC ("Kajorah", "we", "us") is the data controller for personal information collected through this site. We are a free-zone company registered with the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ) in the United Arab Emirates, with our registered address at Compass Building, Al Shohada Road, Al Hamra Industrial Zone-FZ, Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. You can reach us at info@kajorah.com.
What we collect
We collect only the information needed for the interaction at hand.
Categories of data
- Contact details you submit (name, email, phone, company, industry, message).
- Newsletter sign-ups (email and locale only).
- Technical data automatically logged when you visit (IP address, user agent, referring URL, timestamps).
- Anti-spam metadata (honeypot field).
Why we collect it
We use the information you give us to do three things, and three things only:
- Reply to your message and continue the conversation you started.
- Send the newsletter you signed up for, until you unsubscribe.
- Protect the site from abuse and meet basic security and legal obligations.
Legal basis
We rely on the following legal bases under the GDPR and equivalent regimes:
- Consent: for newsletter subscriptions and any optional fields.
- Legitimate interest: for replying to enquiries you initiate and for protecting the site against fraud and abuse.
- Legal obligation: where we are required to retain records to comply with applicable law.
How long we keep it
Form submissions are retained for up to 24 months after our last interaction with you, then deleted or anonymised. Newsletter subscriptions are retained for as long as you remain subscribed, plus a short window after unsubscribe to honour your request. Server access logs are retained for up to 30 days for security purposes.
International transfers
Our primary infrastructure sits in the EU. Where we use providers based outside the EU, we rely on the Standard Contractual Clauses and any supplementary measures necessary to protect your information at an equivalent level.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and equivalent regimes, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, port, and object to the processing of your personal data. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
To exercise any of these rights, write to info@kajorah.com. We will respond within 30 days.
Security
Data is transmitted over TLS and stored on hardened servers behind a firewall (UFW) with intrusion protection (fail2ban). Administrative access is restricted by role and authenticated with Firebase Auth. We minimise what we collect so there is less to protect in the first place.
Children
Kajorah's services are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our practices change. The effective date at the top tells you when. Material changes will be flagged on the home page for a reasonable window before they take effect.
